How much does an HDB BTO renovation cost in Singapore?

When it comes to renovation costs in Singapore, there is no one-size-fits-all number. Because every home is unique, the final investment amount depends entirely on your specific requirements, the exact scope of works, and your preferred design direction & budgets.

What is the difference between a direct carpentry contractor and an interior designer?

An Interior design firm focuses primarily on 3D drawings, concept styling, and usually sub-contract the fabrication works with markups to a carpentry workshop and/or other subcontractors for different works involved. A direct carpentry contractor owns his carpentry workshop and builds cabinets and or other carpentry products in-house.

Here at ReHoVa Interiors, we have the unique advantage of having our own well-equipped carpentry workshop with experienced carpenters, a dynamic in-house design team and a crew of skilful and experienced renovation workers who are on hand to build and create your dream space with the ideas and ideals that you desired.

By virtue that we are a one-stop solution, we enjoy the benefits of better control on the various aspects of renovation works thereby resulting in lower cost and shorter lead time required to finish a project. Being so, we are also able to offer a more competitive price to you, our customers.

How is custom carpentry priced in Singapore (pfr)?

Carpentry is priced per foot run (pfr). In Singapore, standard full-height wardrobes average $280 to $380 pfr, kitchen base cabinets average $150 to $200 pfr, and top cabinets average $130 to $180 pfr. Table tops to be priced separately. Pricing varies depending on selection of laminate, internal carcasses, and hardware fittings.

How long does a renovation take from key collection to handover?

A standard HDB BTO renovation takes 6 to 8 weeks after permit approval. Resale flats or private condos requiring hacking, wet works, and rewiring take 8 to 12 weeks. We map out an exact week-by-week timeline before work starts on site.

Do you handle HDB and condo MCST renovation permits?

Yes. All hacking, electrical, and plumbing works require formal submissions. We handle the HDB renovation permits, BCA compliance, and condo MCST renovation permits on your behalf before commencing work.
